Specification Options
Pre-Peeled: Traditional pre-peeled area with peripheral hinge identification. You can select where the hinge is located on the DMEK tissue: Peripheral/Side Hinge or Center Hinge.
Pre-Punched: DMEK tissue can be pre-punched to your graft size specification after the graft has been peeled. The tissue cap will remain with the graft, and not pre-loaded.
Graft sizes available: 7.0, 7.25, 7.5, 7.75, 8.0, 8.25, 8.5
Pre-Loaded: If you choose pre-loaded DMEK, tissue will be punched to your specified graft size and pre-loaded into a modified Jones’ tube. The modified Jones tube ships upright in a vial of Optisol with a sponge tip in one end to prevent tissue from slipping. Catheter tubing is also inserted on each end of the Jones’ tube to secure it in the vial and prevent breakage during transport. Graft sizes available: 7.0, 7.25, 7.5, 7.75, 8.0, 8.25, 8.5.
