Are you interested in helping Saving Sight fill our eye, organ and tissue donor registry? We’d love to work with you, your organization, or local Lions club to train you on hosting an effective donor designation drive!

Did you know that in a 2019 poll by HRSA, 90% of those surveyed said that they supported donation? Yet, only a little more than half of Americans are actually registered donors. With the help of passionate people like you in our community, we can work together to encourage more people to join the organ and tissue donor registry to fulfill their support of donation and change lives!

What can you expect when you volunteer with Saving Sight to host an eye, organ and tissue donor designation drive? Our volunteer team will:

• Provide comprehensive training via Zoom and/or recorded videos to help you understand best practices in holding an event and answers to frequently asked questions about donation.
• Provide you with materials for your donor designation table or booth space for the day of your event.
• Brainstorm with your team and volunteers to ensure we’re taking every opportunity to promote your designation drive and set you up for success!
