Celebrating Champions of Sight

In 2020, Saving Sight established the Champion of Sight Award to recognize our partners who exhibit an extraordinary dedication in advocating and assisting in making eye donation possible. Champions of Sight show compassion, resilience and a love for what they do each and every day. They demonstrate an outstanding passion for supporting the eye donation process and help Saving Sight achieve excellence in caring for donors, their families and the eventual recipients of the gift of sight. Champions of Sight are distinguished advocates of donation within their professions. Together, with our Champions, we truly change lives by saving sight!

Who is Eligible?

External partners from our hospitals and funeral homes, as well as medical examiners and coroners who excel in aiding Saving Sight in the donation process.

How is are Champions of Sight Determined?

Currently, nominations for Champions are made by our Hospital Development team, informed with feedback from our team internally and other external partners. Visit our Contact Us page to connect with our Hospital Development team.
