Eye donors give the gift of sight through corneal transplants, but also have the opportunity to change the lives of those affected by eye conditions by providing tissue for research and education. Saving Sight provides eye tissue to medical researchers who seek the causes and cures for a variety of ocular conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, corneal disease, and retinal disorders. Research tissues available include whole globes, corneas, lenses, and conjunctiva. Saving Sight is also interested in collaborating in various research partnerships.
